Robin Wall Kimmerer is a talented artist. She weaves stories into the everyday to spread messages of love, gratefulness, and community. I’ve read many of her works, and I find they always leave me contemplative and inspired. In a way, I enjoy Robin Wall Kimmerer’s works because I see speckles of my own art and philosophy in her writing: a shared love and kinship with nature.

This is a book I revisit to make my hard days feel lighter and the dull days glow brighter. It has a magical way of transporting me into a relaxed headspace. Braiding Sweetgrass is an immersive experience into presence, and, as you read, you awaken to the beauty and value of your true surroundings.
