A Pond.
Swampy, murky, confusing;
Beautiful, emerald, glowing;
Full of life.
The little fish that kiss my feet,
The silly grasses that graze me with tickles,
Remind me of our mother and fill me with love.
The slime that clings to me,
Reminiscent of my womb,
Purifies my sins and rebirths me into the world.
Being baptized by mother nature is a beautiful blessing.
As she breathes into and through you,
The grit of your lungs is expelled,
The clogs of your heart melt,
The tears in your eyes escape and fly away.
Numbness bitterly leaves as sensation overwhelms,
And you feel the entire duality of the world.
Life.
Swampy, murky, confusing;
Beautiful, sapphire, glittering;
Full of lessons.
Why we breathe,
Why our souls chose this path,
Is defined by the lessons we are meant to learn.
When things are seemingly surrounded by pain and agony,
shadows haunting you and swirling in your mind,
Jump into the pond.
Body floating at the surface,
Converting from shell to being.
You feel your wounds,
Memorize and trace your scars,
Let tears relieve you of stoic suffering.
Feel alive again with mother nature,
As you wade in her pond.
